All about Check-In

What is the Check-In feature?
The Check-In feature lets you show you’re watching a match by picking the team you are cheering, sending a message and posting pictures. The Check-in post will appear in your Socios feed and your friends will be able to comment and cheer

For which sports is Check-in available?
Each sport will have a different range of activities available, and we are working to expand them to all our sports.

For now, Football and Rugby are the sports that have Check-in enabled

How many Fan Tokens do I need to Check-in?
You don’t need a Fan Token to Check-in.

However, holding Fan Tokens will enable you collect a higher amount of Experience Points and Leaderboard Points faster (depending on how may Fan Tokens you hold). Collecting XP will give you SSU in return, and together with Fan Tokens you can use them to redeem exclusive items in Fan Rewards (see more details in the Rewards section). Moreover, it will not be “spent” and you will still be able to use your Fan Token in other features, but you will not be able to sell or transfer out your token while in use.

How do I Check-in?
To Check-in an upcoming match you will need to access that match page

When can I Check-in?
Check-in will be available with kick-off and will be open until 2 hours after the end of a match, to give you time to upload the best pics from the stadium

What do I earn for Check-in?
When you check in you may earn 2 types of points:

XP - This contributes to your profile level and gives you SSU loyalty tokens every time you level up.

Leaderboard points - This contributes to your ranking on a team’s leaderboard (depending on the team and sport)

Leaderboards have a multiplier function that calculates points based on the number of Fan Token in your wallet. The multiplier is capped to 50 Fan tokens for each team.
