Yes, you can withdraw NFTs from your Socios.com wallet to any wallet or exchange that supports Chiliz Chain network and ERC-721 token standard. To ensure a smooth transfer, we recommend first sending the NFT to your Metamask wallet before transferring it to your desired destination.
To send your NFT to another wallet or exchange:
- Open the Socios.com app, go to your wallet, and tap on “NFTs.”
- Browse through your NFTs and select the NFT you’d like to send.
- Review the NFT details, where you will find the contract address and the Token ID. We recommend saving this information before proceeding with the transfer. Some wallets, like Metamask, may require you to manually input these details to view your NFT.
- Tap the “Send” icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select a recipient from previously added recipients or add a new recipient and select it to proceed. When adding a new recipient, ensure the destination platform supports Chiliz Chain and ERC-721 token standard. To find the recipient's blockchain address, go to the wallet/exchange to which you want to send your assets. In case you have doubts, you should contact the support of the wallet/exchange directly. If you’re using Metamask and cannot see Chiliz Chain, you’ll need to add it manually.
- Tap “Confirm” and use your passkey to sign and verify the transaction. If you sent your NFT to Metamask and you are not able to see the NFT, you will need to import the NFT manually to be able to see it.
Important Notes:
- Ensure you have enough Chiliz (CHZ) in your wallet to cover the network fees for sending NFTs. These are standard charges imposed by Chiliz Chain network. For more information regarding fees, please visit this FAQ article.
- NFTs sent to a network not supported by the receiving wallet or exchange will be lost and are non-recoverable.
- NFTs sent to an incorrect address will also be lost and are non-recoverable.
- NFTs sent to an exchange where they are not supported will not be visible and may be lost.
